One of the most important things your child can do to achieve academic success is: go to school every day. In fact, research shows that your child’s attendance record may be the biggest factor influencing his or her academic success. By attending class regularly, your child is more likely to keep up with the daily lessons and assignments, and take assessments on time. Many of the activities are hands on and involve working with other students as well, which are difficult to make up. By making your child’s school attendance a priority, you will be taking an important step in supporting your child’s school success and setting a good example. Remember: Every minute counts!
Tardies
If your child arrives after 9:00 AM, they must be escorted into the building. Please sign them in at the office on the clipboard. They should take a yellow pass to their teacher. Try your best to be on time.
