Students and their grandparents pose for a picture

The halls of Mount Hope Elementary were abuzz with excitement last night as students and their beloved grandparents and grandfriends came together for an evening filled with fun activities and cherished memories. The "Goodies with Grands" event, organized by our PTC proved to be an unforgettable experience for all involved.

One of the highlights of the day was the bustling book fair, where grandparents and grandchildren explored shelves filled with captivating stories and educational treasures. From timeless classics to modern favorites, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Each frame was a unique masterpiece, reflecting the bond shared between grandparent and grandchild. Then they could take advantage of the photo opportunities around the building to capture precious moments together. Smiles, laughter, and the occasional silly pose filled the air as memories were immortalized on film.

Grandfriends and grandchildren indulged their sweet tooth with an assortment of cookies and refreshing drinks, providing the perfect fuel for a building tour. Students were able to show their Grands around the building and point out some of their own work posted in the hallways.

We want to give a huge thank you to the PTC for organizing this meaningful event for students and their grandparents and grandfriends! Thank you to all of the families who donated cookies and puzzle pieces, and also to the many volunteers! This night would not have been a success without you!
