A soldier in uniform standing with 4 her family

We held a heartfelt Veterans Day Assembly to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. The event brought together students, staff, families, and community members in a touching celebration of service and sacrifice.

The assembly featured a moving White Table Ceremony presented by members of the Student Lighthouse Team, symbolizing the service and sacrifice of those who never returned home. The school choir and handbell ensemble performed patriotic selections that filled the gym with pride and gratitude.

A highlight of the morning was guest speaker Matt Moser, who shared what it means to serve and the importance of honoring veterans. Adding to the special moment, he was introduced by his daughter, Ella Moser, a proud 4th grade student at our school.

Along with the assembly, light refreshments were served by our Parent Teacher Committee (PTC), giving guests an opportunity to visit and view the beautiful hallway displays of student artwork and writing, all created in honor of our veterans.

It was a meaningful day of remembrance and gratitude, one that reminded everyone of the importance of service, sacrifice, and community.
