First grade students had a blast strengthening their phonics skills with a fun BINGO game and hands-on practice using beads to sound out and blend words during Husky Time! 🎉📚
Trunk or Treat was a fantastic time filled with fun, costumes, and candy galore! 🎃🍬 Thanks to everyone who joined in on the spooky festivities!
Our 4th graders rocked their Monster Medley performance! 🎶 They did an amazing job singing, playing recorders, and adding fun beats with boomwhackers!
Who is your favorite book character? Several families submitted pumpkins for Mount Hope PTC's Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Students can use money to "vote" for their favorite pumpkin. All money raised will help to ensure all students get to shop at the bookfair. We are blown away by the creativity!
Mrs. Muenks' third graders are using tiles to build arrays and explore multiplication!

As we wrap up this Friday we wanted to thank @showmestlouis for stopping in at Mount Hope Elementary to hear about the first week of school. We can't wait to get back Monday and start Week 2!
The response to our new online meal payment system has been terrific! You can find directions on how to get your account set up on our Student Nutrition page. Once you're set up, you'll be able to one-click to the system using the LunchTime tab from the Family Portal. LunchTime helps you see your student's balance, set up low balance reminders and balance notifications, make on-line deposits and more. Bus riders: Please remember the ride home takes a bit longer the first few days as everyone gets used to their new routine. Our principals and Transportation Department will send updates as needed. Families should have received a text to help you find your bus stop and pick-up time. The link is also posted as an announcement when you log in to the new portal.

Have you completed your Summer Challenge Board? Marshall and Lexie are getting their Boards all filled in. It looks like they both had a great time with the swimming challenge! Remember, a student can earn a small prize for just filling in one full row for a regular BINGO! Or, for all students who have completed every activity for a BLACKOUT BINGO, we will have a fun-filled celebration once school is back in session. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
