Word problems can be tough for first graders, but Mrs. Garnett's class is doing a great job using tools and strategies to share their thinking!
Our 4th graders put a lot of hard work into preparing their characters for the wax museum. Students, staff, and families enjoyed their performances!
Donuts with Dudes was a great success! Many students were able to spend quality time with their dudes. Thank you to PTC for putting on the event and to all the dudes for taking time to enjoy a donut with the little ones who look up to them most. Fun was had by all!
Students who completed the Summer Reading Challenge activities were rewarded with a luau celebration last Friday!
First graders are having fun learning to add 1 or 2 more as well as strategic thinking skills while playing 5 In a Row. You can play at home by making a BINGO type board using numbers 2-8. Numbers can repeat! Players roll a dice and decide rather to add 1 or 2 to the number rolled. They initial the number they made on the board and the next player takes their turn. First to get 5 in a row wins!
